BLS & ALS IN-SERVICE TRAINING

ACC takes pride in training emergency personnel. We train firefighters and EMS personnel throughout the Alamance County region and beyond. A variety of emergency medical continuing education topics are scheduled monthly throughout Alamance County and online formats; all are welcome to attend.

Credentialed providers are responsible for maintaining their own continuing education records, including compliance with various topic hours (see NCOEMS Re-certification Standards). The required minimum of all topic hours will be offered at least once per four-year NCOEMS credentialing cycle (2018-2022).

The NREMT credentialing cycle may vary from the NCOEMS standard. It is the provider’s responsibility to ensure minimum compliance with the NCOEMS and NREMT re-credentialing standards (see NREMT Re-certification Standards).

1.Students must submit registration forms by the 25th day of the month prior to the scheduled start of class. An email should be received from Docusign confirming your successful enrollment in the course. Please note if you do not receive this email immediately after submitting the registration form you have not successfully enrolled in the course. Be sure to check your spam inbox, if not you will need to resubmit the form. It is highly recommended that you download a copy of the registration form and for your own records. Registration form access will be removed from the website the day following the registration deadline. Students missing the registration deadline will not be enrolled in the online section. No exceptions.

2. It is the sole responsibility of the student to make arrangements to attend an in-person session at an Alamance County fire department or at ACC Graham Campus (see CE Calendar) if a mandatory class is missed.

3. Some departments may elect to hold an in-person session during the “online” months. Personnel planning to attend one of the in-person sessions need not pre-register.
